1. Wellness, not medical

SmartSound is a wellness product, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or neurological condition, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, epilepsy, or sleep disorders. References to research describe general findings on auditory entrainment and are not claims of clinical efficacy for any individual. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional before changing treatment for any medical condition. Do not use SmartSound while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation where impaired attention or altered states could cause harm. If you have epilepsy, a seizure disorder, a pacemaker, are pregnant, or are under 18, consult your physician before use.

2. Use of the service

By creating an account you agree to use SmartSound only for lawful, personal purposes and to not redistribute, reverse-engineer, or resell audio output or session data.

3. Subscriptions and refunds

Pro and Studio subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from the Account page; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds within 14 days of first purchase are available on request to billing@smartsound.live.

4. Account security

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential. Notify us immediately at security@smartsound.live if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartSound is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including any health outcome, hearing impact, or sleep effect.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
